to me the sister is lost.... lost in her path. that is why her foot steps are only behind her. she has many ideas that are brilient but all of them together ony clutter her mind. She knows she has the answer and it is there, but it is difficult to figure out which is the best idea. hence she is perplexed and stuck in the situation she is in and she can no longer more forward. she is stuck in her own world.

sorry to hear that you have been discouraged to continue this project. I think this is a great project mashallah and there is much that we will get out of it. Please keep creating the wonderful art that you have been putting together for us. Subhanallah. we waste so much time just taking pictures and doing nothing with it. there is great benifit in art that challenges us and makes us think and reflect. Keep up the awsome work.

Cant wait to hear about the technique you have discovered!

The storm seems to be on an empty space on the couch. It looks as though the storm has already consumed a family member; judging by the ring on her finger it could be her husband who usually occupies the empty space. The way she's sat shows how comfortable she is, or was before the storm arrived. Shes using her arm to somehow protect herself from any splash back, rather than actually getting off the couch. I think she needs to either get up and do something to stop it, or at least get up and find an umbrella to use while the storm is around. If it was such a bad storm then wouldn't she be so worried and scared that she'd run away? There's no lightning though, it's just rain so can't be as bad as she thinks, and she doesn't look quite worried!

this photo represents the arrival of the storm/ the difficulty / the trial that is to befall. its an interesting point to note that she can see it. sometimes people cant actually see what hits them before it does. but in this case she can. and its here that it looks like she has the potential to own the situation. her defense looks weak but she can choose to either allow it to fall on her and soak her till she's numb and hopeless or she can get up and conquer it/protect herself with something stronger like the belief that she will see it through by the will of Allah

this piece to me represents that point where one can make the decision/intention/willingness to trust in Allah SWT because she can always truthfully tell herself that:

{If Allah helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you? And in Allah (Alone) let believers put their trust.} 3:160

She doesn't understand the magnitude of the cloud next to her, signifying the cloudy memories from the past. The cloud seems small, yet contains a lot of water - a lot of 'tears.' Similarly, some traumatic events in our life may seem small to us, we might minimize them, but they're stuck in our body, waiting to be released like a rain-shower or namely tears - a natural release of pain and stress that has built up over time, waiting to come out.

But interestingly, she seems a little concerned about the cloud showering over her. She's afraid to experience the shower, because it will drench her, make her wet, make her uncomfortable, or drown her. Seems like the room is filling up with water. She needs to find something that will save her or support her, for instance, a boat, which signifies our support network. Similarly, to pass a storm, we need the support system in our life. The couch isn't sufficient - we're literally in our comfort zone then. We need additional support, and get out of our comfort zone to get the help we need.

its interesting how you usually give us the explanation but you left it open this time.
as soon as i see this i feel that its a wonderful representation of 'anxiety.' sitting on the couch inside, yet the storm is so close and unavoidable. anxiety feels some what like this.
